A Motorcycle Trader or a Salvage Yard?
March 28th, 2008When you love your motorcycle, it can be a bit hard to say goodbye. Take, for instance, the story of my friend Mike. Mike has always loved Yamaha motorcycles, and he had a few in his collection that he just couldn’t bear to part with, even though they had seen better days and were no longer running well. One day I told Mike that it was time to talk to a motorcycle trader, or to bring his beloved bikes to the scrap heap. I knew that he would never agree to trash his bike, so he started looking a little more closely at what he could accomplish with a trader.
A good motorcycle trader, especially one that is online, can help you to find a new home for your baby, or can help you to sell the parts so that it at least gets recycled. It may be hard to sell your bike for parts, but most riders believe that it is better than scraping it entirely. So what happened to Mike? He actually found a buyer for all of his older bikes and managed to use the money he earned to buy a new used motorcycle.
