Wintertime Blues
December 30th, 2007If you live in a state where you get no snow, feel fortunate! There are those of us that have to deal with shoveling and the freezing cold, not to mention that we have to lock our bikes up for months at a time. Being a bike lover who lives in a snowy area can be frustrating, but there are ways to make it through the cold months of winter with little to no trauma.
The best way I’ve found to make it through the winter is to start looking at used motorcycles and motorcycle parts. Try looking for something that you don’t have and could add to your bike, like highway pads or new rearview mirrors. If your bike is getting a bit old, look at some used motorcycles to see what you’d like to get this time around. If you pay for the bike, some motorcycle owners will be more than happy to hang on to it for you until the snow melts and you can get it. This winter, don’t get the winter blues; instead, start planning for the spring by looking at used motorcycles and used motorcycle parts. This will not only help you wait through the winter, it will give you some very sweet dreams!
